Is OneShopAI free to join?
Yes. OneShopAI is completely free to join. There is no application to be approved, no card required and no trial that expires — you pick a name and a password and you are in.
Some future additions such as the marketplace may carry paid options, but community access, resources, events and opportunities are free and are staying free.
Who is OneShopAI for?
OneShopAI is for four kinds of people: students learning AI from zero, developers and AI builders, founders building AI products, and working professionals bringing AI into their day job.
Four rooms are open today — AI Founders, Student Benefit, Collab Space and Learning Community — and you can join as many as apply.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Coding is not required to join or to get value from OneShopAI. Many members are students, product people and professionals using AI tools rather than writing model code.
If you do code, there is a room full of people shipping agents and reviewing each other's builds. If you don't, one of the three learning paths — “Using AI well without writing code” — assumes you never will.
Why join OneShopAI?
Because building alone is the slowest way to learn AI. Inside, you get the resources, the live sessions, the hackathons and — the part you cannot get from a course — the people working on what you are working on.

Is it beginner friendly? Do I need an AI background?
Yes, it is built for beginners. No AI background is needed. Curiosity is the only prerequisite, and the learning paths assume you are starting from nothing.
Beginners are not gatekept here. The rule inside the community is that nobody gets talked down to for asking a basic question.
What should I expect in the first month?
In your first month, expect to join at least one room, turn up to whichever sessions are running, meet a handful of people working on what you are working on, and ship one small thing.
The members who get the most out of the first month are the ones who post in the first week. Say what you are stuck on, not just hello.
Is this just another online community?
No. OneShopAI is a working room, not a feed. There is no engagement farming, no self-promotion wall and no gatekeeping of beginners — every session ends with something you can use at work.
Most communities optimise for posts. This one optimises for what members ship, hire and learn.
Which is the best AI community in India?
That depends on what you want from it. If you want to build, ship and find collaborators rather than just read AI news, OneShopAI is built for that — free, India-wide, and organised around outcomes rather than posts.
Other Indian AI communities are stronger for pure news, or for a single city's meetups. Pick the one whose members are doing what you want to be doing in six months.
When does the OneShopAI Marketplace launch?
The OneShopAI Marketplace is still being built and has no public launch date yet. Members can join the waitlist now and will get access before it opens publicly.
We would rather say that than name a quarter we are not certain of. The build order is set: the Learning Hub is live, the Agents Hub is next, and the marketplace follows it. It opens with six categories — SaaS, AI Tools, AI Agents, Services, Templates, Business — listing AI tools, agents, SaaS and services from verified sellers who are community members first, alongside honest reviews and member-only pricing.
